2. Data We Collect

We collect the following data when you use our website:

• Contact form submissions (name, email, company, message):to respond to your inquiry.
• Usage analytics (page views, referrer, device type):to improve our website. We use PostHog, which can be configured to anonymize IP addresses.
• Performance analytics (page load times, web vitals, navigation paths):to monitor site performance. We use Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights, which collect anonymized data without cookies.
• Error tracking data (browser, OS, stack traces):to fix bugs. We use Sentry, which does not track personal data.
• AI chat messages:when you use our chat widget, your messages are sent to Google Gemini via Vercel AI Gateway for processing. Messages are not stored beyond the active browser session.
• WP Health Report:when you use this tool, the URL you provide is sent to the Google PageSpeed Insights API for performance analysis. No personal data is transmitted.
• Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID: G-D5466MRK51):page views, session data, and device information to measure site performance and ad campaign effectiveness. Only collected after you grant consent via the cookie banner. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent).
• Google Ads conversion tracking:conversion events to measure ad campaign effectiveness. Only active after consent is granted.

3. Legal Basis

We process your data based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract performance) for contact form submissions, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest) for analytics, performance monitoring, and error tracking, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent) for AI chat interactions and Google Analytics/Ads tracking. You can withdraw consent at any time via the cookie banner (see section 10).

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share data only with processors who act on our behalf:

5. Data Retention

Contact form data is retained for 12 months after your last interaction, then deleted. Analytics data is retained for 24 months. AI chat messages are not persisted beyond the active browser session. You can request deletion at any time.

6. Your Rights

Under GDPR, you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, and objection. To exercise these rights, email us at mail@webvise.io.

7. Cookies & Tracking (Consent Mode v2)

We implement Google Consent Mode v2. By default, all analytics and advertising storage is denied — no tracking cookies are set until you actively accept via the cookie banner. When you accept, Google Analytics 4 (G-D5466MRK51) and Google Ads conversion tracking become active. You can withdraw consent at any time (see section 10). Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights operate without cookies regardless of consent. PostHog analytics is cookie-free where possible.

8. External Links

Our website contains links to external services such as Cal.com (scheduling). When you follow these links, you leave our website and the respective provider's privacy policy applies. We do not transmit personal data to these services.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.

10. Withdrawing Consent

You can withdraw your cookie consent at any time by clicking "Cookie Preferences" in the footer. This clears your stored choice and shows the consent banner again, allowing you to change your selection. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing that occurred before withdrawal. GA4 data already collected is retained for up to 14 months per Google's standard retention setting.
